The FIFPRO Men's and Women's World11 players signed their jerseys to help raise funds for earthquake victims in Türkiye and Syria.
"FIFPRO has partnered with global fan engagement platform MatchWornShirt to give football supporters the chance to own an unrivalled collector’s item whilst raising funds for those most in need," International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPRO) said in a statement.
The members of the recently announced 2022 FIFA FIFPRO World 11, consisting of the best players as voted for by thousands of professional players, inked club jerseys which are available for auction.
The closing date for the auction, run in conjunction with matchwornshirt.com, is March 12 at 1400GMT.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Kevin De Bruyne, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Thibaut Courtois, Virgil Van Dijk, Casemiro, Joao Cancelo, Achraf Hakimi, and Alex Morgan put their jersey up on auction to raise funds for earthquake victims.
The devastating Feb. 6 twin earthquakes have claimed more than 45,000 lives in Türkiye’s southern region.
The magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 quakes, centered in Kahramanmaras province, have impacted some 13 million people across 11 provinces, including Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Elazig and Sanliurfa.
